Terms of Use

Welcome to Ishraqa. These terms govern your use of the app and its services; by using it, you agree to them.

1. The service

Ishraqa is a free app offering daily quotes and their explanations, articles, a book library, opportunities and scholarships, and a community space for writing and voice recordings. We may develop, change or discontinue features over time.

2. Your account

• An account is optional and needed to write, comment and follow.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for your account and what is posted from it. Do not impersonate others.

3. Your content

• What you write or record remains yours. By posting it you grant us a free, non-exclusive permission to display and publish it within Ishraqa and its channels, credited to your display name, for as long as it is posted.
• You confirm the content is your own or that you have the right to publish it, and that anyone whose voice appears in a recording agreed to its publication.
• You can delete your posts and comments at any time.

4. Community guidelines

Not allowed: - Abuse, hate or incitement against any person, tribe, culture or religion. - Harassment, threats, or sharing others' personal information or photos without consent. - Deliberate misinformation, advertising or spam. - Sexual or violent content, illegal content, or content that infringes others' rights.

The Ishraqa team reviews content and may reject, hide or remove it and suspend violating accounts. You can report any content or block any user from inside the app; we review reports promptly.

5. Ishraqa content

• Quotes and proverbs come from Arabic heritage; we take care to attribute them accurately.
• Articles are for general education and are not medical, financial or legal advice.
• Library books are in the public domain or published with permission; each book's page shows its source and license.
• Opportunities and scholarships come from official sources; always verify terms and deadlines on the official website before applying.
• The app's design, logo and original texts belong to us and may not be used without permission.

6. Optional support

Financial support is entirely voluntary, processed by Google Play, and unlocks no extra features. Payments and refunds follow Google Play's policies.

7. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from using the app or relying on its content.

8. Ending use

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time via Account → Delete account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we protect it.

10. Changes

We may update these terms and will notify you in the app of material changes. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept it.
