IshraqaYou can delete your Ishraqa account and all data linked to it at any time, in one of two ways:
In the app
- Open Ishraqa and sign in.
- Go to Account.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm.
Your account and its data are deleted within moments and cannot be recovered afterwards.
If the app is no longer on your phone
Send a request through our contact page, choosing "Delete my account" and using the email registered to your account. We will verify it, delete the account within 30 days, and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account and email address
- Your public profile: name, photo, bio and links
- "Your Culture" posts and images, comments and likes
- Voice recordings in "Grandma's Wisdom"
- Follows, reports and block lists
- Notification tokens and your notification inbox
What may remain
- Encrypted backups for up to 30 days, then deleted automatically.
- Anonymous aggregate statistics not linked to you, such as article read counts.
- Data stored only on your device, such as favorites and streaks, which is removed when you uninstall the app.
